Building Is the Easy Part

A 7D Short by Smarty. You were told that building was the hard part. Then vibe coding broke the barrier — one person can now hold dozens of finished apps. So where is the empire? This short is about the trick hiding inside the word easy: building was never the bottleneck that kills. Three silent bottlenecks are — verification (is what you built actually live?), distribution (does anyone know it exists?), and maintenance (does it stay alive with zero attention?). And the one system that beats all three: records over memory. Nobody runs an empire from memory. The day a record beat a memory. The Monday morning protocol. Equal architecture, not equal minutes. Building is the easy part. Staying real is the work.
